Time Keeps on Ticking

Hello my fellow Deviants;

Time has gotten passed me. This summer has been zooming along. I have a son in Uganda, who seems more wrapped up in the women than the humanitarian mission he is on. He will be home in a week or so.

I have a young man I helped raise, and his adoring wife are staying with us as he is being evaluated by the Stanford team for a double lung/heart transplant. (I wrote a little something about it [link]"on my FB

complete with a song his dad wrote.)

I just got back from a week long vacation in the desert (We totally couldn't afford the gas, but my husband threatened to explode if we didn't get out of here.)

We just borrowed money from my school book funds to make the house payment.

It is cloudy and chilly nearly everyday, as all of the neighboring towns are complaining about triple digit weather ::shell is staring at her covered pool pouting::

David Carradine, Ed McMahon, Farrah and Michael.. sad time for all.
People ask: "What about all the other 300K people who have died?" I say, Well, it all depends on how they affected your life. I fell in love with Michael Jackson while he was a cartoon character in "The Jackson 5" long before his illnesses. Farrah? HAHA Yes, I had Farrah hair, and she taught us that pretty girls could be powerful. David was a beacon of simplistic truths that helped a young girl learn the differences between good and evil. I never met any of these people, but they affected my life greatly.

A friend of mine lost a baby today...

A time for sadness, a time of reflection, a time for togetherness and a time for healing.
We grieve, process, and move on to the joy life has to offer.

I know I am going to find me some tide pools real soon and shoot some colorful life! I am inspired by an old schoolmate of mine who does underwater images which floored me.

Danie got married! A time for rejoicing in all that we can celebrate!

You make an insightful point about being affected by certain, favourite, celebrities - which is universally relevant.

Of course I don't know your friend, (or your good self), but I do send my heartfelt condolences. I've experienced that loss twice, so I kind of know what she and her partner might well be going through.

Yes, there is a lot going on around us.

Sadness and happiness, some of the seasonings for life.

I can't wait to see your tide pool shots. Sounds promising.
