Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. Between dA and Facebook, I was a bit overwhelmed. Perhaps because I was gone and came back to all the wonderful cards, gifts and wishes. There is no feeling that that of being cared for!

The depression has lifted. I can think of my sister without falling into doom and gloom. Thank you all so very much. I am so glad I reached out for help, especially from others who have been through this.


My amazing husband took the day off and whisked the children and I off to Yosemite National park. I have some fun snapshots here but I have 6 gigs of other images to go through before I post some landscape images.

We had such a fun, laughter filled day.

How incredible. This is a Petunia, one of my all time faves. They are so hardy, strong, yet delicate and lovely. They outlast most flowers in my garden, yet go around other flowers and hedge them in instead of choking them!
