Happy Birthday 2 !!

I got my new CAMERA :camera: A major upgrade on my camera and my favorite camera will become my second. I was using a wide angle lensed camera as my second, needless to say, that didn't work out too well. Plus one was a Olympus and the other a Sony so batteries etc didn't match up. I am very excited. :excited:

My Birthday has arrived

I GOT IT!!okok well, the learning curve needs to get worked out.. but I will get it. ;) Here it is.

See the lil cutie attached? It's name is Tik MissKitty made that! `misskittyoooo it's great for the cellphone etc but I am using it to help me keep my cameras sorted. Plus it adds whimsy to my day! Thanks Kitty!!

We can't really afford this camera right now, but my husband is doing what he does best and that is encourage me to create. He brought my painting easel out the other night, it sits in the livingroom LOL

It's not so much the camera :camera: (although that rocks my world,) but it is the reminder of how much this man loves me, supports me and has been by my side for so many years.



He was the one that kept saying "You're not dead yet shell, your soul is alive, show me what you see." and he handed me my first (real)camera. He then carried me to the car and took me all around the world saying "show me what you see." He also got me paints, ceramics, a kiln and many arts tools.

That was years ago now, and we have since had all these children and travels and oodles of photographic journeys.

He hasn't quit on me. (Now I start to cry :cry:) That is the very thing that makes one not want to quit on oneself. It's been hard on him, all the financial changes and crisis's (401K HAHA anyway...) but he won't quit.

And, I'm so happy for you - it is things like the camera (and not really the camera) which really, I agree, tell you how much someone loves you, and how much you care for those people in return :love: I'm so happy that you have someone who encourages you to no end :D
