Feb, Feb, Feb....

This time last year was a bitch!!
I was no longer wanted by the powers that be as the Community Projects Gallery Director.
It was the weekend of my birthday ,
I was doing a fun Springfest project with my pal ^estudio No rhyme, no reason, just dArama and bull.


With the huge flux of cohorts leaving their little hats behind currently, I am ever so reminded of the season of last year.

The firing of `FallenRox just knocks my socks off, yet, sadly it makes sense to me. She was a powerhouse, organized beyond measure, saw the bullshit behind the curtain and cleaned it up always. That just won't be tolerated!

She had a recent journal about BS and asskissing and it really touched me. Why are we so afraid to talk? Where is the power coming from? We want to be respectable, dutiful and to not create more dArama. Could something be done if we all spoke out?

Look at how much money was raised for Breast Cancer walks! or for `hellfirediva's foreclosure help. (Please, check it out. She needs more help!) I had started a new organization called Raven's Relief, *Artists4change with worldwide attention, deeming it necessary that we get nonprofit status!

Do we have the same amount of power as a community to actually make changes in the infrastructure of this online community? Some say: it's just a business.
Well, yes, it is a business of over 7million voices.

I am going to do some brainstorming on this situation and perhaps even take it to my classmates as a challenge! I challenge you to give me your opinions, ideas, solutions. Thank you. Hmm perhaps a Speak up contest







OHHHH my birthday coming up. I am going to post some "through the years" photos. Next year is 50 folks!!!!! My daughter turns 30 next month!! This year, I will not fall in the hell pit of last year! I still don't know why I gave it the power, and I pray that `FallenRox paves a new road for all!!

I am claiming this as a TURNING POINT! Since last year it was a detour on to a rough, rough year!!!
